I absolutely LOVE practicing yoga in a studio... but most days, I am practicing at home - mostly due to time constraints but also to work on poses privately. Some days, it's just me & a mat. But when I take a few extra minutes, I add these simple steps to stimulate the senses:
LIGHT A CANDLE OR BURN SOME INCENSE
BREW SOME TEA (I'M AT HOME SO I CAN ENJOY IT THROUGHOUT)
PLAY MY YOGA PLAYLIST ON A SPEAKER
POP IN MY WIRELESS EARBUDS AND FOLLOW A YOGA FLOW FROM MY PHONE
SAVASANA (corpse pose) FOR AS LONG AS I NEED
