When I began practicing yoga, I thought it was a physical activity, perhaps even a way to release tension and stress. I quickly learned it is so much more.
Yoga is described as a process of uniting the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects of ourselves - allowing us to discover energy and states of peace within ourselves.
Each practice is as different as each day in a life is.
Some days I enter the studio with an intention or focus and I leave feeling refreshed and energized. Other days I come in distracted or worried about something, but I still leave feeling better somehow. I find this intriguing, and I want to learn more.
Each time I practice, whether at home or in a studio, I ask myself after... what is it that I notice?
