Neuroplasticity

Neuroplasticity refers to the ability of our brains to adapt. I believe we need this as we age because the demands on our bodies change throughout life. Our brains control everything!


There are many things we can do to keep our brains & nervous systems healthy - even as we get older.


  • Learning new things (I've heard the suggestion of learning a new language - think Sanskrit names of yoga poses!)

  • Staying active

  • Meditating

Practicing yoga checks the boxes for me
