Setting an intention at the beginning of a yoga session will sometimes come easily but not always.
Having a mantra helps me focus on something I want to cultivate in my life, something I am grateful for, or even something I want to elevate in my yoga practice:
I am CREATIVE.
I am LOVED.
I am BALANCED.
Journaling - putting pen to paper - helps cement my intentions and intensifies my gratitude. I can quickly refer to it on those days I need an idea of where I'd like to focus.
